There is only one human race, one humankind. This project uses the powerful symbol of a handprint to represent the human race in its entirety. It explores the seemingly past-time notion that humans can have opposing opinions and still get along. It is a declaration that all humans are the rightful owners of their own individual values and experiences and are not wrong for being different from one another. It declares that human equality and acceptance are imperative for human continuity. The members of the human race must work together as one, regardless of their inherent differences, in a combined effort to combat the major global issues that humans face today. Humanity’s future lies within the unified hands of the human race.
