How a Session Actually Works
It starts before you arrive
Bring them on a leash and bring whatever treat actually works... everything else is here. No tricks required, no “good behavior” expected.
You're guided by their pace
First time in the studio? We give the room twenty minutes before the camera comes out, and that time is built into every session, not squeezed around it.
It's collaborative
You can be in the frame with them, on any session. The goal is the portrait that actually goes on your wall.
Studio Location
Sessions take place at Blueberry NYC Studios, 649 Morgan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The nearest subway stops are the Graham Ave. L train and Nassau Ave. G train, with easy metered parking under the BQE directly across the street.
FAQ
What if my dog is nervous around new people or cameras?
Completely normal, and it's most dogs. We give the room time before anything comes out, work at their pace, and take breaks whenever they need one.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just your dog, on a leash. Treats and toys are here, but bring their favorite if they're picky... it helps more than anything I can offer.
Can I be in the photos with my dog?
Yes. The Pack session includes it, and it can be added to any session as “You in the frame.”
Do you photograph more than one dog?
Yes... The Pack session covers up to three, and another dog can be added to any session.
How soon do I get my images?
1–2 days, with hand-finished retouching on every frame.
